Justteachers teaching agency require a Teaching Assistant to work within one of our specialist partner SEND schools located in the Peterborough area. The schools provide education to pupils aged from 4-11 and 11-16 years with a range of complex needs.
This position is to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, with potential for a long-term position.
The role is to work with a small group of children with specific needs. As well as supporting the children in the classroom, you will also support with all aspects of social development such as life skills leisure and recreation and self-confidence. You will assist the teacher to secure achievement and progress in the curriculum for all students.
Ideal candidate;
Previous experience of working in a special school would be advantageous but not essential
