Justteachers is excited to be working in partnership with a large, two-form entry Primary School in Rugby that is well respected in the local community. The school is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their successful team.
In this role, you will be supporting students across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). You will also be responsible for covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) sessions when needed. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver pre-planned lessons to the whole class in the absence of the teacher.
– Provide high-quality support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
– Collaborate with teachers to ensure the best learning outcomes for pupils.
– Maintain a high standard of support and contribute to the classroom environment.
– Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students.
Requirements:
– Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
– Experience covering PPA sessions and delivering lessons to the whole class.
– Proven experience supporting pupils across multiple Key Stages in a primary school setting.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– A proactive and forward-thinking approach to supporting learning.
