Are you a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for your next role in the Skipton area? Justteachers is currently recruiting for a passionate Year 6 teacher to join the team at one of our partner Primary Schools on a full-time, supply basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum, with a focus on preparing students for their SATs
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure students reach their full potential
  • Implement strong classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child’s needs are met
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with additional learning needs

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 6 pupils and preparing them for SATs
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students at a critical learning stage
  • A commitment to supporting and motivating pupils to achieve their best
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings
