The Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can engage students in a variety of physical activities, fostering a love for sports and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all students are actively engaged and challenged
Plan and deliver a diverse range of physical activities, including team sports, athletics, and fitness programs
Encourage participation, teamwork, and good sportsmanship
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support skill development
Work closely with the PE department to organise sports events, extracurricular activities, and competitions
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all physical activities

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Specialism or strong experience in teaching PE at secondary level
A passion for promoting physical health, teamwork, and personal achievement
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to inspire students of all abilities to participate in and enjoy physical activity
A commitment to extracurricular involvement and promoting school sports
