Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Geography Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic educator with a strong background in both Geography and Humanities subjects.

Position: Geography Teacher (with Humanities)
Location: Leicestershire
Contract Type: Temporary, full-time
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £140 – £230 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Teach additional Humanities subjects as required.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the school’s curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography and Humanities.
  • Monitor student progress and support their academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography, with some knowledge of Humanities subjects.
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check.
