Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a supply position at a partner secondary in the Skipton area. This opportunity can be made full-time or part-time for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic school, helping to shape young minds and foster a love for music and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students in achieving their potential
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them excel
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members and contribute to the school community
  • Support with music lessons, clubs and performances

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching music at secondary level
  • Skill in a variety of instruments desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students
