Teaching Assistant – Hinckley
Justteachers are looking for passionate and motivated Teaching Assistants to work within our partner primary schools in Hinckley. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and dedicated to making a positive impact in students lives. Both full time and part time applicants are encouraged to apply.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working under the supervision of the class teacher, however you may be required to take small groups for Math/English interventions or support children on a 1:1 basis.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in a classroom setting, working with children
- Level two Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant equivalent
- Passionate about the development and learning of students
- Work well with teachers to create a supportive and product environment for students
- Be willing to build relationships with learners and support their educational needs
- Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of the school
Our candidates will require:
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Drive and dedication
- A passion to work with children from 4 – 11
- A clear enhanced DBS (we can help you with this)
- Great understanding of Safeguarding and its importance (we can provide training)
- Two education/school-based references dated in the last 2 years
- An energetic and positive attitude
