SEN Teaching Assistant – Leicester
Justteachers is currently looking for an eager and friendly SEN Teaching Assistant to work within one of our partner schools located in Leicester.
The successful candidate will be supporting the class teacher in delivering the curriculum, ensuring pupils needs are catered for and aiding the development of students. Working with children is a hugely rewarding and is the perfect role for someone looking for variety in their work, no one day is the same!
The school are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and is flexible. The candidate will be supportive and play a key part in the learners’ progression with those that require more assistance than others.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in providing support for children with special needs
- Committed to the growth and learning of students
- A desire to build relationships with learners and support their educational needs
- Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of the school
Our candidates will require:
- A clear enhanced DBS (we can help you with this)
- Great understanding of Safeguarding and its significance (we can provide training)
- Determination and enthusiasm
- Two references, one of which will be from working within a Special needs school.
- A passion to work with children from 4 – 11
- A spirited and forward-thinking attitude
