Role Overview:
This full-time role will involve covering a maternity leave starting in January 2025. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for full teaching duties, including lesson planning, marking, assessment, and classroom management, to ensure high educational standards are maintained. You will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students with a love for Geography, making a real impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
– Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students
– Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental goals and school initiatives
– Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behavior
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
– Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a UK secondary school
– Proven experience delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
– Dedication to upholding the high standards of this outstanding school
