English Teacher – Keighley

Justteachers is seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher for a full-time supply role at a well-regarded secondary school just outside of Keighley. This position, available from January involves teaching English across key stages, including up to A-Level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons to students from KS3 through to A-Level
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a love of literature and language
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support for their academic and personal development
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to drive the success of the English department and the wider school community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English at secondary level, including KS5/A-Level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for language and literature, with a commitment to fostering student success
