Are you an experienced and passionate individual with a strong commitment to student development? Justteachers are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a full-time supply basis at one of our partner secondary schools near the Wisbech area. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real impact in supporting students’ learning and growth, while gaining experience in a dynamic and diverse school setting.

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers, delivering learning activities, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Assist with planning and delivering lessons, working closely with the teaching staff.
• Provide targeted support for students, including one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
• Monitor and report on student progress, offering insights to teachers.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role.
• Passionate about supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
• HLTA status or relevant experience or qualifications (Level 4 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent).
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
• Right to work in the UK.
