Justteachers Supply Agency are seeking a passionate and qualified Art Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chelmsley Wood. This full-time role is set to begin in January and will continue until the end of the academic year in July. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring art lessons to students, fostering their creativity and artistic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Teaching: Deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons across various year groups, following the school curriculum
– Planning & Marking: Prepare lesson plans in accordance with school guidelines and handle regular assessment and marking of students’ work.
– Behaviour Management: Employ strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning environment, supporting students’ individual needs
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
– Previous experience teaching Art at the secondary level
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
