We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring KS2 Primary Teacher to join our warm and welcoming team at [School Name], a vibrant primary school in Burnley. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to all abilities and encourage curiosity, engagement, and enthusiasm in learning.
  • Encourage personal and academic growth: Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents: Work effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and track student progress: Use assessments and feedback effectively to monitor progress and provide targeted support to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school values: Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all pupils and actively promote our school’s values of respect, integrity, and community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be a committed educator with a passion for supporting young people and fostering a love of learning. We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2.
  • Strong subject knowledge in the KS2 curriculum and an understanding of varied teaching methods.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative working.
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development, including a willingness to take part in CPD opportunities.
