About the Role

justteachers is seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a nurturing and vibrant primary school in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, guiding them through the crucial early stages of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging early years curriculum: Plan and implement age-appropriate, creative, and stimulating lessons that support all areas of the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a positive learning environment: Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, encouraging a love of learning.
  • Promote personal, social, and emotional development: Support children’s individual growth, developing their social skills, confidence, and independence.
  • Track progress and set targets: Use observations and assessments to monitor each child’s progress, identifying areas for further development and adapting learning plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with staff and families: Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure a cohesive approach to each child’s learning and well-being.
  • Uphold school values and safeguarding policies: Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and uphold the school’s ethos and values.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should be a dedicated and caring individual with a passion for early years education and a desire to make a positive impact on young children’s development. We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience within EYFS.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the unique needs of early learners.
  • An energetic, creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage young minds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to working collaboratively.
  • A proactive attitude towards ongoing professional development.
