Performing Arts Teacher – Keighley

Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Performing Arts Teacher looking to inspire young people? Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Teacher for a small, community-focused secondary school in the Keighley area. This role is offered on a flexible supply basis, with both part-time and full-time options available, teaching up to Key Stage 4

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Performing Arts lessons up to KS4, including aspects of drama with some dance, fostering a love for creative expression
• Support and lead school clubs, theater groups, and ensembles, encouraging students to participate and grow in confidence
• Assist in the organisation and execution of school performances, productions, concerts, and other artistic events, creating an inclusive environment where all students can showcase their talents
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate performing arts into the broader school curriculum and community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Specialisation in Performing Arts, Drama, Dance, or relevant experience teaching Performing Arts at the secondary level, up to KS4
• Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a positive approach to fostering creativity
• A passion for the performing arts and an enthusiasm for supporting young people in exploring their potential
