Teacher of Geography Bradford

Are you passionate about exploring the wonders of the world and helping students understand the complexities of our planet? justteachers Teaching Agency is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to inspire and educate students in a large Secondary School in Bradford.  This role is to start in January but there may be the opportunity for an earlier start if required.

The school is part of a large and successful Academy Trust who are looking for a colleague to join this welcoming and supportive department.  You will need to plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of global issues, landscapes, and cultures.

This role is suitable for both ECTs and more experienced practitioners who can:

• Stimulate critical thinking and geographical inquiry through hands-on activities, fieldwork, and digital technologies.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and promote a holistic approach to learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject among students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
