Teacher of Science Bradford

justteachers Teaching Agency is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a Secondary School in Bradford and make a difference to the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.  This is a full time role to start in January suitable for either ECTs or more experienced practitioners.  You will be joining a school who have a well-resourced and expanding Science department.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that captivate students’ interest and promote active learning.
• Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and 4 with specialisms in any discipline considered.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods and provide timely feedback to support their learning journey.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their academic and personal growth.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at the secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Passion for science and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject among students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
• Dedication to promoting a culture of respect, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom.
