£130 - £220 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our school’s team in January. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5, depending on experience). This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their careers in a supportive and innovative environment.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires all students to achieve.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Support and participate in extracurricular activities, including reading clubs, competitions, and school productions.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related subject.
  • A passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
