Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled KS3 & KS4 English Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Halifax. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching, a commitment to student development, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum that meets national standards and caters to diverse learning needs.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for application.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related subject.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Passionate about teaching, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
