Are you an enthusiastic Music teacher looking for a new role starting in January? Justteachers is currently shortlisting for a full-time (could be made part-time through job share) vacancy at one of our partner Secondary Schools in the Craven area, seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their team.

Job Description:
In this role, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a love for music and creativity
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to a diverse range of student backgrounds and abilities
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, maintaining high standards and supporting individual learning needs
  • Develop and manage music-related extracurricular activities, including clubs, performances, and events to further engage students
  • Encourage students to explore their musical potential, creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Support the curriculum development of the music department and contribute to a collaborative team culture

You Will Have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Two education/school-based references (covering the last 2 years of employment)
  • A drive to stretch and challenge pupils of all abilities
  • High expectations for teaching, learning, and behavior
  • Experience planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4
  • Experience teaching A Level Music (desired but not essential)
