The Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can engage students in a variety of physical activities, fostering a love for sports and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all students are actively engaged and challenged
• Plan and deliver a diverse range of physical activities, including team sports, athletics, and fitness programs
• Encourage participation, teamwork, and good sportsmanship
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support skill development
• Work closely with the PE department to organise sports events, extracurricular activities, and competitions
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all physical activities

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Specialism or strong experience in teaching PE at the secondary level
• A passion for promoting physical health, teamwork, and personal achievement
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to inspire students of all abilities to participate in and enjoy physical activity
• A commitment to extracurricular involvement and promoting school sports
