General Cover Teacher Borune

justteachers are working with a partner secondary school based in Bourne to appoint a general cover teacher to join them as soon as possible on a full time basis.

This role offers the opportunity to teach across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students when regular teachers are absent. Key Responsibilities:

• Covering lessons across a variety of subjects in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring that students stay engaged and focused
• Supporting students with their learning and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom
• Ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning and maintaining high standards of classroom management
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to provide feedback on students’ progress and behaviour
• Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQT applications also welcome)
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and staff
• A proactive approach to teaching and learning, with a flexible and positive attitude
• Experience working in a secondary school environment is desirable, but not essential
