As a  female PE Teacher, you’ll have the chance to shape young people’s physical development, deliver engaging lessons across a range of sports, and foster teamwork and sportsmanship!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring a focus on skill development, fitness, and sportsmanship
Plan and implement a varied and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
Promote a positive and inclusive approach to physical activity, encouraging students of all abilities to participate and excel
Foster a competitive spirit and sportsmanship through extracurricular sports clubs and school teams
Track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential
Work collaboratively with other staff to promote physical health and wellbeing across the school
Contribute to the development and maintenance of PE resources and facilities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQT applications are welcome)
A degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
Passion for teaching and inspiring students to lead active, healthy lifestyles
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
Experience in teaching PE at secondary school level (desirable but not essential)
A commitment to the development of extracurricular sports programs and school teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
