Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a warm, welcoming primary school in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This full-time position is for maternity cover, commencing in January 2025 and is expected to continue through to December 2025.

Role Responsibilities:

As the Class Teacher for KS1, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, and setting targets for development.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and promotes student well-being.
• Collaborating with colleagues and engaging with parents and guardians to support each child’s learning journey.
• Carrying out the full responsibilities of a KS1 teacher, including pastoral care, behaviour management, and preparing students for transition within the primary phase.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience teaching KS1.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, a commitment to raising attainment, and a child-cantered approach to teaching.
• Be adaptable, organized, and confident in delivering the national curriculum in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
• Have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
