We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a partner school based in central Lincoln.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students’ learning and development in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. As a  Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide support for individual students and small groups, helping to create a positive and engaging learning experience.

The school are looking to appoint someone as soon as possible on a full time basis. The role is expected to last till the end of the academy year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with the preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Support children with their social and emotional development, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom.
  • Help to manage classroom behaviour, encouraging positive interactions and engagement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing materials and organizing resources.
  • Monitor and report on students’ progress and achievements to the teacher.
  • Provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A patient, compassionate, and positive approach to working with young people.
  • An understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced school environment.
