The Role:

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and experienced teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities for a mixed Year 3/4 class. This role will include planning, delivering, and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum that supports each student’s individual learning needs and development. As the class teacher, you’ll play an essential role in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for a small and welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum that meet the needs of both Year 3 and Year 4 students
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting lessons to support varied learning needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, communicating effectively on student progress and any areas of concern
• Take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher, including marking, assessments, and parent consultations
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school initiatives and the wider school community

Duration:

This position is set to begin in January 2025 and is expected to continue until July 2025, covering a full academic cycle with the Year 3/4 cohort.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2 is strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment
• Passionate about fostering a love for learning and able to inspire and motivate young minds
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage full teaching responsibilities and collaborate with colleagues effectively
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to engage in the full life of the school
