KS2 Teacher Horncastle

justteachers teaching agency are looking to recruit a KS2 Class teacher to work within one of our partner primary schools located near Horncastle, Lincolnshire.

The school is a forward-thinking, innovative primary school with a passion for learning beyond the classroom and much of the curriculum is taught outdoors in their inspirational educational school grounds. The senior leadership team believe that children learn best when they are happy, confident and well-motivated.

The position is to start January 2025 and maternity cover until July 2025.

You will:

• A qualified teacher holding UK QTS
• Be creative & knowledgeable – able to provide relevant learning to children that links across the curriculum that engages children with the learning process
• Have recent experience of teaching in KS2 (years 3-6) and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning across a mixed year group class.
• Hold high aspirations and expectations of all children and self – proactive about self-improvement
• Passionate & reflective about the learning process and interested in educational research
• Be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’
• Be caring and develop positive relationships with all children
• Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour

Salary will be in line with the National Teachers Pay Scale, Teachers M1 to UPS welcome to apply – this role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.
