Year 1 Class Teacher – Bingley

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 1 Teacher for a full-time supply position in the Bingley area. This role is perfect for a passionate educator eager to make a difference in young learners’ lives. Shortlisting for the position is beginning immediately for a January 2025 start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support each child’s development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive behaviour
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth through a nurturing approach
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote a cohesive learning experience
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 1 pupils or other relevant experience
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a warm, engaging learning environment
• A passion for nurturing and inspiring young children
• Flexibility and adaptability
