EYFS Teacher – Ilkley

Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Nursery Teacher to join the team on a supply basis, working closely with young children to support their early development and educational journey. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities and fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom atmosphere.

The nursery focuses on early childhood education through creative play, hands-on learning, and fostering positive social interactions. They believe in the importance of supporting each child’s individual development and growth in a welcoming, safe space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver stimulating lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment that supports each child’s unique learning journey
• Monitor children’s progress and report regularly to nursery staff and parents
• Collaborate with the nursery team to ensure a high standard of care and education
• Be adaptable and flexible to work in a supply capacity, covering as needed

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) with experience in an EYFS setting
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly integrate into different nursery settings and adapt to their routines
• A genuine passion for early years education and helping children succeed
