We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher, dedicated to helping our young people reach their full potential.

The successful applicant will have experience of developing and delivering the secondary curriculum as well as being flexible to teach across both KS3 and KS4.

Ideally applicants will have experience of delivering Maths or English at KS2/3 level.

As a suitably qualified teacher, the successful candidate will prepare and deliver high-quality and effective lessons and interventions that adhere to academic progress, alongside supporting the development of learners’ essential skills and emotional resilience in a stimulating and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work in line with the SEN Code of Practice and have the ability to motivate and inspire young people experiencing social, emotional and mental or physical health difficulties. The role will mainly involve teaching students in a small group-based setting.

 Salary: Main National Teaching Pay Scale – this role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.

 Location – Rural Kings Lynn, own transport would be beneficial as public transport services in the area are limited.

Applicants must be able to evidence:

  • Recent experience of teaching students working at a lower than expected level
  • Exhibit resilience of working with pupils who display social, emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Their ability to successfully motivate and teach disaffected students within mainstream primary/secondary education and/or other settings
  • Their ability to support young people to make progress through a curriculum that embraces nurturing principles
  • Their ability to ensure the school meets the statutory requirements of the SEN Code of Practice
  • Their ability to lead and manage personalised learning programmes for pupils
  • Their experience of and ability to develop, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum in terms of progress and outcomes for pupils
