Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a positive learning environment
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
• Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, supportive, and focused learning atmosphere
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help each student reach their potential
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum, sharing best practices and participating in professional development
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community to support academic and personal growth
• Promote a love of mathematics, encouraging curiosity and resilience in students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and a strong foundation in mathematics instruction
• Proven experience teaching secondary maths with a track record of improving student outcomes
• Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to creating a positive learning environment
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed and reach their academic potential
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• UK right to work
• Driving is an advantage due to the school’s location
