KS1 Teacher Peterborough

justteachers teaching agency are working with a Primary Academy in Peterborough to recruit a full time KS1 class teacher. The role is full-time but they will accept applicants who are also looking for 4 days per week.

This is a long term placement and may even have the chance of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will need:

• A qualified teacher holding UK QTS
• Be creative & knowledgeable – able to provide relevant learning to children that links across the curriculum that engages children with the learning process
• Have recent experience of teaching in KS2 (years 3-6) and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning across a mixed year group class.
• Hold high aspirations and expectations of all children and self – proactive about self-improvement
• Passionate & reflective about the learning process and interested in educational research
• Be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’
• Be caring and develop positive relationships with all children
• Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
