We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in partnership with one of our outstanding partner schools.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant who can support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the classroom, working closely with teachers to provide a stimulating, safe, and caring learning environment that encourages young learners to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
  • Assist in planning and preparation of resources and activities tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Encourage the social and emotional development of children by offering guidance, care, and support.
  • Observe and monitor children’s progress, keeping detailed records and reporting back to the teacher.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group support when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote each child’s well-being and success.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in childcare or education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent).
  • Experience working within an EYFS setting is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its practical application.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and caring attitude with a passion for early childhood development.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
