Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining an effective learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
• Aid in lesson preparation, resource creation, and classroom management.
• Foster positive student behavior and promote inclusion within the school community.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support students’ progress and wellbeing.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching and school activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students is highly desirable.
• A genuine interest in helping students reach their potential and an understanding of their diverse needs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team while also showing initiative.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous but not essential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; a DBS check will be required.
