Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.
• Provide individual and small-group support to children, including those with additional learning needs.
• Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive.
• Contribute to lesson planning and preparation, including the creation of learning resources and displays.
• Foster positive behavior and social skills, supporting students’ wellbeing and development.
• Carry out administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day classroom operation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support students’ learning and progress.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience working in a primary school setting, with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• An understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
