DT Teacher Attleborough

Justteachers are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join one of our partner schools near Attleborough on a long-term supply basis starting in January 2025. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about engaging students in creative, practical learning and fostering a love for design and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Inspire students to develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of design processes.
• Maintain a safe and well-organized learning environment, ensuring all practical activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Regularly assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the school’s Design Technology curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Design Technology.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students in various areas of DT, such as woodworking, textiles, or graphics.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about fostering creativity and technical skills in students.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
