This welcoming and supportive primary school in Coventry provides a stimulating and inclusive environment for children aged 3-5 years. The school is a 2-form entry school committed to delivering high-quality education and helping each child develop academically, socially, and emotionally. The EYFS team is collaborative and enthusiastic, and the school offers ongoing professional development to all staff. The school have a supportive SLT and are passionate about the development of children at the start of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that promote the development of key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning.
• Plan, prepare, and assess individual and group activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Support the emotional and social development of children, fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with parents and carers to monitor and promote children’s progress and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
• Provide constructive feedback to pupils to help them improve their learning and reach their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You will have QTS in EYFS or Primary education.
• Previous experience in an EY setting
•  A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and child development.
• Passionate about creating a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Able to demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to EYFS Teaching.
