Maths Teacher – Ilkley

Justteachers is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a partner secondary school in the Ilkley area. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave and involves teaching Maths across key stages, including up to A-Level. Shortlisting is underway, with interviews taking place soon, and the role will begin in January.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths to students from KS3 to A-Level, delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the school’s curriculum
• Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the success of the Maths department

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including A-Level
• Experience teaching Edexcel and AQA Maths exam specifications
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to student achievement and a passion for Mathematics
