Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Rugby. The successful candidate will work within a Reception class, providing essential support to the whole class, as well as offering tailored assistance to individual students where necessary. This is a full time role starting in January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Support the learning and development of students across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Work with small groups and one-on-one with students, including those with additional needs.
Help implement and reinforce phonics programs, ensuring that all students make strong progress in their early reading skills.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Monitor and record students’ progress, reporting to the class teacher and other staff as needed.
Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is essential.
Experience working within an Early Years setting, preferably in a Reception class.
Strong knowledge and experience with phonics is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
A passion for supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
