KS1/2 Intervention Teacher – Stratford

Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and patient Intervention Teacher to join our team and work with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who struggle to access the curriculum. This is a part time role working in Stratford upon Avon

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and math’s, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
• Work closely with small groups and occasionally one-on-one with students who are facing challenges in accessing the curriculum.
• Support students across all year groups in KS1 and KS2, ensuring they develop confidence and skills in key subject areas.
• Collaborate with class teachers and SEN coordinators to create tailored learning plans.
• Provide support in other subject areas as required, ensuring a well-rounded approach to each student’s education.
• Maintain a calm, patient, and encouraging environment that fosters positive learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working with challenging students or those with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
