Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 pupils.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that inspires curiosity, a love for learning, and academic excellence.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying learning styles, abilities, and needs within the classroom.
• Track, monitor, and communicate pupil progress effectively, using assessment data to inform teaching and enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupils’ personal, social, and academic development.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement, supporting a positive school culture.
• Participate in school activities, professional development, and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly Year 4, is desirable.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies to engage young learners.
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating inclusive and engaging lessons that inspire students.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one).
