The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and will be committed to making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and support students with diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to support student development.
• Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of SEN policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.

Desirable:

• Additional qualifications or training in special education.
• Experience with specific SEN conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, or ADHD.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive teaching methods.
