Computing Teacher – Lincoln.

Justteachers are currently working with a large Secondary school in Lincoln, who are looking to appoint a Computing Teacher from January 2025. This is a part-time role (3 days a week) and will include planning and delivering inspiring lessons across KS4 and KS5. This is a long-term role, due to finish March 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons across KS4 and KS5. Ensuring your students achieve the best of their potential, whilst enjoying to learn the subject.

• The successful candidate will be experienced teaching in KS4 and KS5 and have a thorough up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and age-related expectations.

• To succeed in this Computing teaching role, you will need to be a strong classroom practitioner who can engage with pupils and make an immediate impact to their education

To be considered for the position you must:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Two education/school-based references
• Have a positive outlook and look to instill this in your teaching to raise pupil’s aspiration

• A strong commitment to raising standards

• Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour

Salary will be in line with the National Teachers Pay Scale, Teachers M1 to UPS welcome to apply – this role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.

To be considered for the role and the rates advertised, you must meet the minimum experience, training or qualifications stated. To be considered for a higher rate, in addition to meeting the minimum criteria, you must be able to demonstrate additional experience, training, and if applicable, qualifications.
