£162.30 - £251 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers Supply Agency are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a school in Banbury on a part-time basis, starting in February 2025. This ongoing cover role requires a committed educator capable of delivering engaging RE lessons, handling planning and marking duties, and effectively supporting students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons in accordance with the curriculum
– Mark and assess student work, providing feedback that encourages and supports student progress
– Foster a respectful and positive classroom environment that encourages active learning
– Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department activities as required
– Maintain high standards of behaviour management and promote a positive school ethos

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Religious Education or a related subject
– Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4 desirable)
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
– Commitment to nurturing students’ spiritual, moral, and cultural development
