justteachers is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1/2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school near Colne. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team of educators and positively impact young learners’ development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for a Year 1/2 class.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying abilities and learning needs.
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support the educational and social development of pupils.
Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in teaching within KS1, ideally in a Year 1/2 setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A nurturing and creative approach to teaching and learning.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
