Year 5 Teacher Keighley

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 5 Teacher for a full-time supply position in the Keighley area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact on upper Key Stage 2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted feedback to support their development
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and engagement
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere
• Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development, preparing them for the transition to Year 6
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure pupils achieve their full potential
• Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 5 pupils
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate learners
