justteachers is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely primary school in Harrogate for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2025. This welcoming school is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to deliver high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student development and curiosity.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student well-being and academic progress.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining high standards for pupil engagement and learning.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching KS2 or primary age children.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

Desirable:

• Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.
• Understanding of SEND and experience working with students of varying needs.
• Flexibility and adaptability in approach to teaching and school life.
