Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Assist individual pupils and small groups with their learning, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
• Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment that encourages pupil confidence and independence.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to teachers and supporting the development of personalized learning strategies.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among pupils.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that embraces diversity.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or those who require targeted interventions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children in a school or educational setting (experience supporting SEN pupils is an advantage).
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Adaptability, patience, and a caring approach to working with children.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
