About the Role:
Justteachers are excited to recruit a passionate and dynamic Physics Teacher for a secondary school in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and motivated educator to join a supportive and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. You will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop a love for physics and help them achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality physics lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage improvement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extra-curricular activities if appropriate

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A degree in Physics or a closely related field
  • Previous teaching experience in a secondary school (preferred, but NQTs are welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
