This secondary school is looking for a learning support assistant to join their supportive and thriving team of support staff. You will be working with struggling pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to improve their progress. You will also be helping the class teacher to manage class behaviour, supervise students during school outings and ensuring that pupils are ready for the next stage of their education.

The ideal learning support assistant will have:

• Experience in working with and supporting young people in a secondary school is desirable
• Experience working with young people with learning difficulties, SEMH & other SEN is desirable
• A DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Start date – 6^th January until the end of the academic year

Pay – £80 – £95 per day

Hours – 8am – 3pm Monday – Friday
